Happy 2012, everyone!

Happy new years! Hope everybody is enjoying their first day of 2012 and spent their last day of 2011 with the loved ones. I wanted to have my first review blogged for a fresh beginning of a new year. So, here it goes!

Maybelline's Baby Lips!

from left to right:
Pink punch, Quenched, Grape vine, Peppermint

I have yet to try 2 more of these babies. (Peach & Cherry)
As you can tell from the swatches, these are tinted lip balms so they are not very pigmented. Personally I like the peppermint baby lips the best. The pink punch and grape vine do not look very good with my lips but remember that it will look different on everybody's lips.  The baby lips contain an SPF 20 and are very moisterizing.  I like to carry these in my book bags and purses because I do not need a mirror to apply them.  I've heard many good reviews of the peach one so I'm eager to purchase and try that one out.
If you want a good deal on these, definately look for the b1g1 free or b1g1 half off prices..but my favorite deals for the baby lips are at Target.  Target retails for the Baby Lips at $2.99 a piece but if you go on their website and click the beauty section on the left, there are $2 off coupons for any Maybelline lip products, so you can get one of these bad boys for only .99! I'm not sure if that coupon is still available but make sure to check it out frequently because Target puts up these coupons often.

  1. I've been on the hunt for these ever since they came out. I went to Sephora and got the sugar brand from there that is similar to them but they are quite expensive. How do you feel about the baby lips?

  2. Well.. Sugar lip balms are super expensive but they do work in making your lips soft..but for me I wouldn't want to spend like $30 on a chapstick. Baby lips work perfectly fine!
